7 Training modules
for entrepreneurs
[top]
These training modules
are published without copyright and free for use. The
advantages
of the modules in comparison with already existing entrepreneurship
trainings are the following:
-
Less
standardisation and more flexibility: The modules are very
flexible in use. You can take the whole series for a one week
training, or take one module for a one day training or even take a
specific chapter for a specific target group, ex.g. take only the
cash book chapter for micro enterprises without more complicated
cost calculation issues. Instead of training, the modules can also
be used for business consultancy on the spot. All depends on the
needs and demand of the businesses involved: demand-driven and
needs oriented.
-
Country specific
contents: Our modules make also the difference with more
concrete country specific contents on taxation, business
registration and acces to finance. About 70-80% of the contents
are general while 20-30% are country-specific, thus more concrete
for users.

of GTZ-PEJU and ADEPME, Senegal.
Original English version financed with support of MISEREOR by means
of
"Katholische Zentralstelle für Entwicklungshilfe", Germany |
How to use the modules
There is no copyright on the
modules; free for use. You can publish the modules with your own logo and
frontpage. If you want to publish your own modules, then you should
consider the following steps:
-
Proofread first all
modules for mistakes in English.
-
Highlight all country
specific chapters and issues.
Country specific
issues to be
replaced by your own country specific data are:
-
Module 1 on Steps of
business implementation:
about 1%
concerning taxation issues on page 17
-
Module 2 on Marketing:
0%
-
Module 3 on Accounting:
about 1%
concerning accounting software providers
and training courses on page 22
-
Module 4 on
Administrative procedures:
about 90%
because legal forms of business, registration procedures, fees,
taxation , customs and tender procedures are mostly country specific
(make first
a one-day Internet research on these issues and you will find 50% of
the necessary data).
-
Module 5 on Financing
your business:
about 10% for the
list of financial institutions and their conditions
-
Module 6 on Business
planning: 0%
-
Module 7 on
International Trade Promotion: about
20%
concerning country specific export procedures, institutions and export
products.
-
Then engage a local
consultant to get the necessary specific data of your country.
-
Choose you own logo and
frontpage.
-
The only restriction is
that GTZ (original version in French was published for GTZ, Senegal) and
the German catholic development organisation Misereor (English version
was financed by Misereor) would like to keep a reference to their input
in the impressum of each of the modules. So, keep please the reference
to GTZ and Misereor which is already placed in the impressum of all
modules.
-
Give please feed back on
mistakes, corrections, improvement and publication of modules for
further possible collaboration and improvement.
-
Download
and use the
leaflet to the english training modules.
-
Download
